When you join IntroConnected, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, business information, location, and what you offer or need. If you create a profile, we collect your bio, product links, gallery images, and heritage methods description.
How we use it
We use your information to connect you with other members, match you with relevant producers and buyers, send you community updates and opportunities, and improve the platform. We may share your profile information with other members as part of the directory and matching features — this is the core function of the community.
Cross-business connections
IntroConnected is part of The Sovereign Economy ecosystem. Your profile may be visible to members of connected businesses (Steading Home, Your Private Estate Chef, Timber Homestead, Frequency & Form, IntroAlignment) for the purpose of making trade connections and referrals. You can control your visibility in your profile settings.
Email communications
We send welcome emails, community updates, connection notifications, and occasional newsletters. All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (account confirmations, connection notifications) will continue as needed for your account.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting henry@introconnected.com. Canadian residents have additional rights under PIPEDA.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for login sessions and basic analytics to understand how members use the platform. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from third parties.
